Speak Your Mind Out
Can you express your feelings and the thoughts circling over your mind freely? Or do you hesitate? There are many such individuals who master the art of expressing themselves and then there are those individuals too who need a bit of push to do so. Each one of us is entitled to our thoughts and opinions and there’s no restriction in letting that be out in the open, maintaining the obvious social etiquettes. One might use any form of art that provides them the freedom of expressing themselves candidly, which helps them to speak their mind out. Many of you might be excellent in expressing your thought process, your views, emotions and vision through acting too or through monologues.
We all have come across many monologues that are enacted by the artists and which seem to establish an everlasting influence, it’s the artists speaking their mind out right? And witnessing such scenes you too want to convey your thoughts across and try your hands on it. Talking about Bollywood, it has delivered a plethora of hard-hitting dramatic scenes accompanied by equally stirring monologues. Can we forget Shahrukh Khan’s “sattar minute” from Chak De India or Amitabh’s Bachchan dramatic court scene from the film Pink?
Comedy and satire are also other ways that artists use to express themselves. They put up the reality in front of you in a humorous manner and that’s bound to give rise to cries of laughter! Some of the renowned stand-up-comedy artists in India that we love seeing up on the stage to enjoy a hearty dose of laughter are: Abhishek Upmanyu, Abish Mathew, Zakir Khan (Sakht Launda), Vir Das, Kunal Kamra, Anubhav Singh Bassi, Aditi Mittal, Biswa Kalyan Rath, Atul Khatri, Appurv Gupta (Guptaji), Kanan Gill, Kenny Sebastin, Amit Tandon.
If one has the gift of any of the art mentioned above then they shouldn’t let it vanish into the thin air, such art requires appreciation and acknowledgement!
